Are the summers up in Northern Indiana pleasant or are they about as hot as down south?

Specifically Angola (near Fort Wayne) and Brookville (near Cincinnati, OH)

Angola is similar to Coldwater, Michigan about the same averages. In eastern Indiana, Richmond, Indiana is a bit more elevated so averages are cooler and similar to Mansfield, Ohio. You want to be further north or elevated to avoid the more severe heat and humidity. Anywhere that is lower elevated by the Ohio River is horrid in terms of heat and humidity.
