You do understand the concept of a sunk cost, right? It has no bearing on future decision making.

I use the library at least a couple times a week. I check out books every week and I am always on the waiting list for something. I love the library!!! If I could I would give them all my tax dollars.

I download the books to my PC and transfer to my tablet if I want to make them portable. I use digital editions by Adobe. I would have gone nuts during my 6+ months of jury duty without the library!

You do have to actually go in to the building once a year to renew your card.

I got a card at the Aliante Library. I use it check out e-books for my Kindle. My NJ library switched platforms from Overdrive to 3M and 3M is not compatible with Kindle e-readers. Fortunately, the Las Vegas library system uses Overdrive.

I also get all my books in digital format. It's great! I like Adobe Digital Editions and I can 'read' on my tablet, Nook, or the computer.

I heard on the radio that (clark county?) libraries can get you access to downloading movies. Anyone try this?

Are these complete magazines, just as if you picked them up in a store? If so, that would be really cool. I assume whenever you want to read it you have to have an internet connection? It doesn't actually download to your computer does it? Thanks for the tip by the way.
