Did you know you can download magazines for an indefinite length of time? Some good mags here!

You're paying the tax to operate those libraries, may as well use them.

You could always petition to have taxes lowered so we don't have those annoying things.

I have a card, but use my smaller keychain bar code thingy more to check out dvds. I've got the max ( seven ) out for the weekend from Gibson. Here's what I have.

Good stuff. I hadn't thought about getting a library card. I'll put it on the list of things to do.

Bummer, wouldn't let me create an account, but this would be fantastic. I will have to go in person. Are Henderson and Las Vegas libraries "the same" (only need one card)?

Between us we have 14 books checked out. I'd hate to have to buy all those considering what books cost today.

Not sure. The library system is (I think) like this.

Henderson
Las Vegas
North Las Vegas
Clark County

I believe they do share between them, but I bet you need a card for each. We are part of the Las Vegas-Clark County system (Summerlin). Where we came from we had four cards; one for our city, the "main" city (We used this one the most), and two of the suburbs. They didn't share between them, but things were so close there that driving to one of the others was no problem. Things are farther away here.

Last edited by Tek_Freek; 10-11-2015 at 12:01 PM.. Reason: Checked and changed the library system we are in.
