I'm in Sherman Oaks, too. As usual, I slept through it.

I was awake and felt a slight shaker at 11:40 PM tonight here in Aliso Viejo. It lasted for about 3 seconds and my windows rattled a bit. The 4.4 the other day actually woke me up.

Indeed it did! I live in Laurel Canyon and other than a 1.5 a couple days ago that felt like someone slamming the door on the house, I've yet to feel anything that actually shook. Maybe it's because we're on bedrock or maybe it's because we're so close the origination but both my wife and I got knocked awake to our bedroom door rattling and pretty much all of the wildlife outside barking, howling, etc. I didn't feel any actual shaking but given the other stuff I assumed it was an earthquake and sure enough...

I know I sound like a transplant here, mostly because I am... We've only lived here for 6 months. I'm going to be screaming like a little girl once a "real" earthquake hits.

I only felt it because there were helicopters near by due to an end of a police chase in Sherman Oaks, so I was awake anyway. it was short and sweet, like someone kicked the bed. Don't worry I've lived here my whole life and if I can remember I think I screamed like a little girl during the northridge earthquake.
