she was probably killed by a poltergeist... now the Evil has been disseminated throughout the other residents of the hotel via the contaminated water supply. I wouldn't be surprised to hear of another possession and murderous rampage.

Looking at the video, it seems she either suffers from a mental condition or is high.

True - but those people aren't likely "culprits" to blame for a crime like this one.

Why don't you elaborate why you think that a homeless person killed her?

I know many homeless persons and the last type of behavior that they would engage in is something of this nature, if it was even a murder.

I hope that you are never on a jury.

I agree that that's completely unlikely. I don't understand why this case hasn't progressed more quickly. Her parents must be devastated. Apparently they haven't made a public comment since early February when they came to Los Angeles. Elisa Lam Death: Friends Call Her Caring and Conscientious, Autopsy Result Inconclusive - IBTimes UK

It's not a huge area and the city , small businesses and residents have invested a lot of money and time to turn around downtown la. The city should be on the side of the taxing , law abiding citizens instead of these scumbags. Enough with the politically correct bull**** in this city that treats the scumbag class like GOLD to the detriment of everyone else.

Downtown LA is still overrun with the criminally insane. I've worked in D-town LA for the last ten years and even with all the positive development and investment, the area is still home to a shocking amount of vagrants.

Sucks to be a business in dtown LA where the vagrants use your front door as a toilet.

is the vagrant problem even solvable?

True...which Is why it doesn't seem far fetched that a homeless person would of been the killer...

The problem is LAPD and other agencies just assume homeless people are "poor, homeless people"

Easy for them to fly under the radar in crimes.

It's the perfect cover...

Homeless people are the ones who are often mentally ill and NOT taking any prescribed drugs, or getting any treatment at all. In my entire life I've never been jumped or attacked in the streets except for one time.

It was in West Oakland by three homeless guys.

EXACTLY!...that's why I don't see why people think it's so far fetched to think it was a homeless person that killed this girl ...especially considering the high population of homeless in the area...

Because statistically it is very rare for a homeless person to violently attack a tourist. Let alone actually murder them. You are going purely off of four people's anecdotal experiences and your own gut feeling of hating homeless people.

Obviously at this point anything could have happened, I just think it is highly unlikely.

Skid Row has been in existence for what, decades? And how much homeless on visitor crime has there been in those decades?
