Do any of you ever feel a sense of being discriminated against when it comes to opportunities in Southern California?

You're referring to us Blacks, correct? I believe jamills and I are the only Blacks in this thread so far.

To answer your question, no.

Listen...asking questions like this on this type of forum is not conducive to forming any type of real life observation. What are you trying to do? This question is way to broad. The fact of the matter is that people in real life are too worried about their own financial situation to worry about whether they want to keep a certain ethnicity around in Los Angeles. Personally, I know a lot of black people who work in high positions. A lot of these people have been in these positions for years and they have no problems getting stuff done. What is your profession? There is a reason L.A. has one of the wealthiest black populations in the USA. So asking a question like that does nothing unless you reveal what your true motives are.

Good to hear. I have a Graphics and Printing business and wondering if I will be able to grow my my business out here. I wouldn't want to lose possible business accounts because of my race.

I don't think you will make it very far in LA if you are already expecting things like this.
