What about places gone since the pandemic?

Tower on Sunset (as a few mentioned). But also
Amoeba on Sunset!
Arclight.
Landmark on Pico is closing end of this month.
Stinking Rose on La Cienega.
Matteos on Westwood.
Pacific Dining Car.
Lots of other places :/
I loved Virgin Megastore on Sunset. That was my go-to place for music in the 90's, and I saw Great White do a show there to promote Sail Away.

Some might find the following source enjoyable, although it includes more than just California, you can still go through the list and cherry pick some memories

Montgomery Wards was one I should never have forgotten in my original list.
I bought a washer/dryer, and microwave from them in 1991, and they are still working as good as the day I bought them, and I use them alot.

I always wondered how they stayed in business as long as they did.

A store I still miss is Nature Company.

Anyone recall Sport Chalet? Closed in 2016. Had locations La Canada, Marina Del Rey and other places.

How about Oshman’s Sporting Goods? Some stores were inside of malls, if I recall correctly.
