Why do you care if it’s less efficient/why is that any concern of yours ?

You’re not responsible for the overhead of City-Data, and no one is forcing you read any threads that you don’t wish to read.

Why do you care that he cares? Why does anyone care about anything anyone else cares about … here or anywhere else? No one is forcing anyone to read or comment on anything anywhere anytime … and yet anonymous people post unsolicited by the billions on web pages daily.

Same reason people wear t-shirts with slogans and slap pithy observation stickers on their car bumpers to inform everyone in sight - who they don’t know and never will and have no connection to - just how they feel .

I’d say.

A Shell gas station in Houston sells gas for $4.
A Shell gas station in LA sells gas for $7.

The government in Sacramento doesn't know what to do with $100 billion of surplus taxes.

^ Well if that money stayed in the hands of those who earned it it would grease the wheels of our economy.
Maybe more strip malls would have less vacancies?
Just sayin.

Shell sucks, anyway. CVX and XOM are my favorite cash cows. If somebody bought in a year ago, they'd have an excellent cap gain, better than the FANG's, not to mention a very fair yield -- I think I'm getting ~8% from those two, as well as various midstreams I've been adding to my portfolio. Oh yeeeeeeeeah!

Oil was one of the most obvious plays of all time. Everyone knew it was going back up. People are just too dumb/lazy/ignorant on how easy it is to join the game. 3-D printing was another big one too, but yeah big oil has been nice.

That March 2020 flash crash is really looking like a once in a lifetime opportunity many passed up due to covid fears lol.

Strip mall vacancies have more to do with internet retailing replacing brick and mortar retailing.
