Why don't you just go to Gas Buddy as opposed to starting threads like this? Gas is expensive right now. Everyone knows that. And yes, it's more appropriate to be in the politics forum.

Because if the information is readily available, the motivation of such threads tends to be political (hence they normally are moved to the politics forum). There's no point in starting threads to just pile on with a bunch of high gas prices when all you need to do is check gas buddy and you can find any local area in the entire nation as reported on by millions of gas consumers.
