Hey, 7thGen, is that flower what you call a Lupine? It looks like the Texas Bluebonnet, but I don't think it's quite the same. Great photos!

Yes it is a lupine. There are areas around Rangley that a gentleman planted a whole bunch of them years ago and it is so pretty!

Here are some pictures from our trip to Long Lake this summer. We rented this tiny cabin for $650 for the week. It has it's own dock, a row boat and canoe. I love Maine.

We all have to eat, don't we? Forestry is one of Maine's oldest and most essential industries, though it's become more and more regulated, and the paper industry appears to be gradually fading away. And speaking about eating, you know where toilet paper comes from, don't you?
