He worked tirelessly for years, decades, to get 9/11 first responders compensated for injuries suffered that day. You might not like his politics, but he's not a jerk. He didn't have to do anything to help first responders, but he devoted much of his life to them for 20 years.
Stewart is getting a LOT of criticism from the left this morning for daring(!) to doubt Biden. Evidently the one unforgivable sin for democrats is acknowledging that both sides of issues might have a valid point of view.

Saw that. He'll take swipes at Trump as well but right now Biden is the elephant in the room.
I don't know if he'll recover the audience he left at the Daily Show. Or it may increase. Or he get lost in the noise these once or twice week host make.
last nights show was like he never left "i like cookies" made me giggle uncontrollably
And his comment about how only Joe Biden can go on TikTok and look even older, lol. His coverage about Biden's address the other night was classic as well. Especially his "NOOOOO!" reaction about him returning the the podium when asked about Gaza and flipping through the pages. This was one I actually watched and paid attention to while normally it's more background noise as I look through my phone while lying in bed.
Will humor be a primary aim of this show? Or will it continue to be leftist political jabs at “the far right”?
The likely answer is yes to both questions. ;-)
