The ELECTED OFFICALS of this State and how they have dropped the ball so many times since the early 1970's when the auto industry started its down turn and no one seen the writing on the wall. Back when people where talking Earth Day and then never really followed thru with it. Like take recycle programs, this still isn't mandatory in this State. In the neighborhood I live in on my street there are 27 houses out that number only 6 houses use the recycle program. Cause people in this State are to LAZY to put plastic and glass and newspapers in a bin for recycle pick up. I would bet that the ones who don't recycle are the same ones who cry Global Warming.

I do not believe that global warming is something that can be put to bed. It may not be proven one way or the other but it is still something to think about. Look at michigans winters. as a kid I can remember that the snow would come off the roof and meet the snow from the ground and black out the window. We would get snowed in for a week at a time. now like last winter we get a rain storm in jan. this is not noramal. There is not even enough snow to run a machine for more than a couple of weeks, the trails regularly turn to mud. the snow fest in otsego county had to have all the snow piled up from the walmart parking lots brought in for the snowmachine race. This is not normal. There has been drought in georgia that is going to cause much trouble as we post.
I do not know what is causing it but it is not normal. The southern states have had record warm temps. and so has the midwest. If you want to doubt people on what they say because of what they have to gain, what do the people who say it is true have to gain? Nothing. but the people who say it is not true. Like limbaugh, they stump for big business, and they have everything to gain. They will not have to change anything so it will not cost anything to them, busniness as usual.

As for Global warming how does anyone really know since there was a weather man back in the 1800's or even the 1700's well you did have Ben Franklin with his kite and flying it in a thunderstorm. But did they care about the weather back then I think not, there was to much going on to worry about the weather. Governments need to crack down on Big Business cause these companies pay for Senate and Congress memebers and these Lame Brains work for money not their concession, Otherwise they would do more to slow down the way we are Destorying the Earth

I would have to say the states economy and lack of political backing is what erks me. Not as if the people are about the lowest we can be, they have to add new taxes.

I'm hacked off because I finally got a job offer today--for 4 hours a day at minimum wage, 20 miles away. The only offer on the 15 or so resumes I have put out this year, and I was making 40K before the last job moved south. I guess I can't PAY to go to work... which would be the situation after I bought gas and car repairs.
