The large agencies have Facebook pages where they post buyer needs, and fellow agents who know people THINKING of selling are making deals that way.

Realtracs used to be the best local home sales site, but at any given moment half the houses listed are already under contract.

The best way to buy here is to find an agent who grew up here or has worked here for at least 15 years. They will have en established network and will plug you into the word-of-mouth market.
