tell me about edward snowden and the lies government was telling us (and congress) about the information they accessed and stored.
when that guy was murdered in the short hills mall parking facility and the car was found in newark soon after, how do you really think they found that car?
I was told that New Jersey Transit ran the overhead cameras, and if in the event of an accident the local police would call on transit to pull the tapes on that particular intersections camera feed. I have no idea how true that is, if anyone knows I would love to hear about it.

That is the agency that run the trains & most of the buses in NJ, and they have no purview regarding roadways.
Is it possible that you meant the NJ Department of Transportation?
Sorry I don't log in on City-Data everyday. Those fire hydrants are everywhere...
Those photos are of the conventional, street-level hydrants that are indeed...everywhere.
I want to see a photo of the overhead hydrants that you referenced.
What is used to support the overhead water mains that are necessary to supply water to those overhead hydrants?
Do they utilize aqueducts?

hose cameras are used to track the location of every vehicle that drives through the light
The tinfoil is too tight.
The Inductive-loop traffic detector aren't used much. They are expensive to install, subject to damage from freeze and construction and if the traffic pattern is changed, they must be relocated. They also don't detect smaller vehicles and motorcycles.

It must be quite a job for those European firefighters to connect their hoses to underground hydrants.
In any event, are you aware that "overhead" refers to something that is...above your head?
So, the fire hydrants in this country can't be "overhead" unless you are less than 3 feet tall.
How tall are you?
