To Leslie Lea,
I believe that Linda Lea and Burt are at the fire station. I think that I talked with Linda Lea when I called. They help with Communications. She said that they will be at the station all night.

Thanks for all of the info from all in Timberon. Our house is on the far east side on Hoover Drive. It sounds like the fire is on the other side. We are praying for all who are there and so sorry for those who have lost a house. We live in Galveston and our wonderful Island is really struggling to get over Hurricane Ike. Losing a home is devastating and recovery difficult.

Linda worked the last fire at the firestation. So I am thinking she would be there. Double EE may be able to find out.

Guess I should have read everything before I wrote.

From what I hear it has been closed off.. But take a water bill with you if you do go to prove you have a place there.

Bunkhill, according to the sherriffs department they are letting "locals" in only meaning if you have a drivers lic or live there 100% of the time they will allow you in if you are not in the "danger" area, however he said people that are deemed visitors or not perm residents are not being allowed in to town for securities purpose. I guess they are trying to make sure they know who's where to make sure if this thing gets going again everyone is safe. I would figure if you tell them you have a place there, they may let you in if it's not in the path or danger area.
