Driving is basically illegal in NYC. I can't remember the last time I drove 20-25mph on anything else other then small side streets.

Complain all you want, but name me another city with over 8 million people in it, in which driving is an absolute pleasure
I'll wait

The key is to not live in a city with 8 million people in it.

Yeah, but these are the same type of people who will complain about not being able to ride a horse in NYC either, same premise

NYC was never a driver's paradise

NYC is the only city in America with 8 million people.

Pretty much every other city in America is easier to drive in, even the likes of Los Angeles or Philly.

Why don't we just give up the cars and run to work.

What low IQ people are running this city. No pun intended ?
Don’t give them ideas! New tickets might be created for people that walk too fast! The cameras could have some face recognition technology that identifies who is someone, where they live and bam, the speed walking ticket arrive in the mail. Covid masks and dark shades might return en masse.

I’m surprised they aren’t applying the congestion tax on pedestrians. They would hve a field day giving tickets to pedestrians in Time Square! lol

NYC records 60 traffic deaths in 1st quarter of 2024, the most since Vision Zero began. It's almost as if randomly putting down bike lanes everywhere while not actually reworking the city's traffic pattern wasn't a good idea at all.
