My experience in living in small towns and larger. It's situation specific..a small community in a large city can be low stress and great...if you don't have to commute.
I've lived in so cal. and cda.... Spokane ...cda area is great but it's pretty busy these years. Commuting in nd can involve long distances.....I do a lot of online shopping.
I'm pretty new to nd. And work in the patch.....I've been watching the weather a lot the past year and although I could be completely off...it looks to me that like many states the weather extremes vary quite a bit depending on where your located.
I've been enjoying nd. Forced here by a company sold but I like the small town...dirt road feel. And like everywhere else...there are far more good folks than bad.
