No, Euclid already is a diverse place. Im not saying its on a diverse level like the huge cities like NYC and Chi, but its still a diverse place.

Ohhhhhhhhh ... okay. I see now. It's like the kettle calling the pot black, but whoever does it first is in the right. Gotcha!

Don't fool yourself. You and squila both love arguing to argue just as much as anyone on here. Do we really need to start posting post #'s? Honestly, do we?

2 of the largest hypocrites on City-Data. Congrats!

I'll stand up for Cincy, when it is rightfully due.

The problem is, there's a lot of posters on here that simply do not know what the hell they're talking about. Sure, you can bet that I'll be there quicker than anyone to refute ... if it is due. For instance, the no boating in Cincinnati recently? Seriously? Anyone "from' the city could confirm. My point: it's obvious they don't know what they're talking about, so why make the statement like it's a fact? I don't have a problem with: "I don't think boating is popular in Cincinnati?"

When Cincy is at fault, I won't try to hide it.

Example:

Cincy has a horrible hispanic presence. Cincinnati's METRO is nice, but in order for it to grow healthy it HAS TO implement 2 things: Streetcars and LRT. More money needs to be spent on our historic architecture. The interstates are too close to Downtown. We need retail Downtown. Our crime rate overall is dropping, but our homicide total is like one or two over last years?! The county, Norwood, and city NEED TO MERGE! Queensgate, WTF?, We need the Mt. Adams incline back, what a stupid mistake. We're moving the crime out of the city and into the suburbs, instead of
"fixing" the problem. We've taken on and hired the firm that fixed Boston's woes, but that's going to take time, I'm sure. NOKY and DT need to come to agreements and work on a super-region instead of competing with each other. I could go on and on ... Is this suffice?

You're right. I've thought about this, and I have been hypocritical. I've argued, too.

Soooo....I'm willing to stop, if you are. Think we can try to get along?

cinci-rise, i think you were referring to my "boating" comment i made awhile ago... let me say it in a more delicate way so i dont hurt your feelings this time.. cinci does not have the boating and fishing experiences that you can find on a large body of water such as lake erie.. for chr*st sake cinci-rise i can freakin swim across the ohio river. and please dont bet hillside you can swim to canada... we pull enough bodies out of the lake as it is.. and another thing ,, you seem to suggest above that a city isnt "diverse" if it isnt black enough ??? you sound like george jefferson , a racist.

I know its already been clarified, and Im really not trying to add or start another argument (honestly).

But Euclid is pretty diverse, at least in terms of percentage, and black/white. Euclid is about 31% black, MUCH more than most cities its size, also its a suburb, so thats even better. So Cincy-Rise was pretty wrong about that. I agree that other than that its not that diverse though. According to the stats other than that the rest is mostly white (66%), but I would still consider that a pretty diverse city.

Excellent point, 1watertiger, because that's how we boat on the OH. We go back and forth across the river in a single line. The option of going up and down river for hundreds of miles are off limits to boaters.

Next!

Sure, if Euclid is a mecca of diversity to you guys, then that's cool with me.

cinci-rise,hillside, both of you are just smartas* that dont have a clue about N.E.Ohio. you make stupid comments when others on this forum prove you wrong..heres what i say... cinci is a freakin bible thumping area that closes up early at night, and the real fun is with the hillbilly side of your river y-all. can you see flagpoles on our states 5th tallest building from over there ?? the euclid comment has set me off ... I bet you are both black men with chips on your shoulder "poor me whitey has me down" mentallity. listen you piece of arguing predudice sh*ts..you dont need black to have diversity,, i have polish, italian, german.ukranian in my neighborhood with the stores and langauges spoken .. but because we have few blacks in the area, you would call it non-diverse? black doesnt equal diversity.
