I went to a Super Target today in Phoenix and noticed all the merchandise was locked up from OTC meds to men's care products, soaps, deodorants etc.
This particular store has a lot of theft and one of the LPs told me at its peak Target was losing 10k a day
Very sad it has come to this.

I doubt it was
all the merchandise. There's no practical way to lock up lawn chairs, lamps, bathrobes, strawberries, Cheerios, and many other items the store sells. Yes, shoplifting is a problem, as is retailers' exaggeration of the problem, but hyperbole doesn't help the cause.

My closest CVS had guards a few years back. Now no longer so it must be better. It's all anecdotal and changes all the time.

This is a ruff Target they have guards as well as now locking up the goods but we will see.
