I know this probably should be in the Weather forum, but I put it here because it was being discussed earlier this summer in this forum that this MIGHT be one of the hottest summers on record. Well, according to Accuweather, it was the hottest summer in the contiguous U.S.

(It wasn't bad here in Wisconsin at all, though.)

The drought in the west is no laughing matter, and unlike a lot of the covid articles pumped by the media, this one really is not fear mongering.

Someone should tell CA and NY. They've shown a lack of preparedness (unlike New orleans for example) and then just blame global warming as if it just popped up like Covid.

Weather is so weird. We’ve had the mildest wettest summer in central Texas I’ve ever experienced. Completely pleasant

No such thing as dumb global warming. This is just a normal 1500 year warming cycle. Most life will start to die off fast out past 140 years at the rate heating we see will get faster and faster over the years with my so called snowball effect.

Nothing new here since the 1970s, Benny. I lived in California in the 70s and never saw a drop of rain.

Well jenny i have seen my rainfall amounts go way down like a clown in my part of FL on the gulf thanks to a displaced summertime ridge since the 1980's thanks to rapid ice melt and changes in sub surface sea temps.

Cail will never see normal rains again jan in our lifetimes.

Some parts of the globe will see cooler weather heather, but most will see rapid warming like we have since 2011. My snowball effect is taking place now with a ramp up in temps world wide clyde as more ice melts more dark earth soaks up more heat pete.
