Default Pictures of Portland that I took on my recent Trip

Hey everyone! Portland is a great place! I had the best time! There's something for everyone there. There's so many different neighborhoods that you can really find something you like somewhere in the city. I liked it all. Here's a few pictures I took of some of the areas I went to. I most liked the South West Hills... I'm not sure how much money it would cost to live there but in California those houses would be 10 million dollars easy. It was sunny the whole time so that was weird! I was in Seattle the same weekend and it was gloooooooooomy.

Yes! Those pictures are from SW Portland! Absolutely gorgeous there. I went downtown too to Powell's bookstore (you know the biggest bookstore in the world) and it was quite overwhelming! Downtown was really fun to walk around in but it was pretty cold so I don't think we got too far. The third picture down is in what I believe they call the "Pearl District" more of a downtown area and the last picture is just a random small park I guess you could call it... also more downtown. I really wanted to go to the Woodstock and Sellmore areas but the other girls wanted to go to Washington and I'm pretty easygoing so I went with it. :/

Sellwood, not Sellmore

You have dreads and you didn't go to the Hawthorne district? What is wrong with you??

SW is overrated and overpriced. Check out Eastmoreland, Laurelhurst, or Mt Tabor. It will put the Westside to shame. The westside, and mostly the west hills, are all about keeping up with the Jones' and materialism. Not my cup of tea.

Like the second pic PDX..

Where can an average joe go.. no hippies, no yuppies, and mostly no yippies - confused hippies/yuppie infusions.

Or is everyone there put into a catagory, and catalogged?

Yes, Portland can really grow the flowers. There are some nice homes in those pictures too. There is a lot of wealth in Portland.

does anyone have any pics of the Rose Gardens? I love going there during full bloom, when they have the concerts and all...so cool to people watch.
