Sounds to me like you want to open them, so why don't you? I wouldn't but clearly you want to, and you don't think it warrants a simple phone call to the station!

I'll give it a couple more days.
If a cop gets to them, they'll get opened and if there's anything valuable, the cop will get it.
Don't open them. Why would anybody, Amazon or not, deliver them to an empty warehouse?
Something ain't right about this. There could be explosive devices inside. It could also be some sort of sting operation set in place by the police.
You wanna open them? Go ahead, but don't say we didn't warn you. If it were me, I'd report the suspicious packages to the police department and forget about it.

Trust me, anything goes in Philly these days ... nobodies waiting around for somebody to take a couple packages from an empty warehouse step.
My biggest concern is an explosive. Maybe somebody is tired of package thieves and they know this is a sure thing.
You must have some reservations or you'd have opened them by now.
Of course ... I'm not generally a thief, but I'm not a saint, either. But I don't want someone else to get the potential goodies, either. I'm really hoping they disappear before I get too curious.
And I'd hate to get a hole blown through my midsection. lol
I'd call Amazon and tell them. Ask them what they would like me to do.
The packages don't belong to you and taking them is theft. You know that.
When everything is resolved, to avoid temptation, which is always a good idea, tell them you were curious about what was in the boxes and maybe they'll tell you.
Then pat yourself on the back for doing the right thing.
This is how you keep trouble out of your life and build self-esteem.

Oh, you're not GENERALLY a thief, but when the opportunity arises ...
In other words, you ARE a thief, or definitely wouldn't have any issue being one.

Maybe I'll just direct a junkie to them.
