It was probably some office “leftovers” - glad you are watching over the property - check the locks next time you are there - you don’t want some squatters and meth lab in your neighborhood.

The owners keep the gate locked tight (there was a gap at the gate at one point). I don't know exactly who they are, but I have their address. Probably an investment firm ... the building is up for lease for now. The same people bought this property and the one next to it a few years ago for a combined $5,000,000. These warehouses/trucking outfits have probably been here since the late 1940s ... they're not an eyesore, they're maintained.
I hope it stays empty for the next ten years - the parking is phenomenal!
My 84 year old dad and retired fireman cousin were parked over there last night, so I showed them the boxes ... they dug right in, using their knives. lol
In one box were Frito-Lay snacks and some colored plastic sheets. The other box was just the same plastic sheets. No treasure.
I've been keeping the property clean, so that was my 'reward.'

Of course ... I'm not generally a thief, but I'm not a saint, either. But I don't want someone else to get the potential goodies, either. I'm really hoping they disappear before I get too curious.
And I'd hate to get a hole blown through my midsection. lol

Sounds really childish, this entire conversation. Are you really so hard up for some "excitement"? What are the odds the packages are going to have anything in them that you're remotely interested in? I think you're just tempting fate.
I just took a little walk and noticed two packages from Amazon were left on the doorstep of an Amazon warehouse that has been empty for months. The building is unoccupied. I moved the packages to the side so that they can't really be noticed from the street.
I know the right thing to do is leave them alone, but there's a side of me that wants to know what's in those boxes. I doubt anybody will be looking for them, but I also don't want someone just walking around to take them.
Be honest, what would you do?
Take a picture of the labels and call Amazon. Mod cut.

Oh well, sorry your thievery didn't pay off better for you.
If someone takes boxes with something in them, and they are not addressed to them, that is called stealing. I don't steal. I might contact Amazon, although that is a pain or the police, or maybe talk to my mail delivery person to see what advice they had. I would not steal them.
