II have bi polar 2 and am in a lot of bi polar groups on Facebook. During manic phrases, promiscuity can be awful for some of us.* I've read and heard horrible stories of people seeking it out from dangerous people in dangerous places. I'm not saying it excuses their behavior at all and the saddest stories are usually the ones who fight the urges to save their relationships. Not every bipolar person is the same. My problem is bad life decisions such as spending way too much money on stupid things to make myself feel good in the minute. Others drink or use drugs to excess.
* As far me, I am so shy and anti-social, I do not seek it out from anyone. Not to mention the side effects of the meds I take, as well as being diabetic, would offer their own limitations to rampant sex.
