Turkey and swiss with Miracle Whip on Wonder bread has been a staple of post Thanksgiving for years.

I will also use the turkey in dishes like turkey Tetrazzini or turkey chili. This year I might make a pot of turkey soup.

We usually have left over mashed potatoes, stuffing and mac & cheese that I use as sides for other meals - steak and mashed potatoes, chicken and stuffing, ham and mac & cheese.

In my family of origin, we always just reheated plates of Thanksgiving leftovers in the same format as the original meal rather than repurposing things into different dishes.

Soup is the best part, of course we do have, turkey salad, and hot turkey sandwiches. Two more turkeys in freezer......can`t go wrong at .49 cents lb.

What? .77 was the lowest in Colorado. One turkey this year, but, I'm happy.

My wife makes a "turkey wreath" on a baking stone that includes turkey, Pillsbury biscuits, Swiss cheese, cranberry, and celery. It's outstanding.

I was surprised at the price too....and they are plenty. Of course, everything else went up.
