Duggar makes money by being a professional Christian. He works as a lobbyist for a "Christian" special interest group in Washington, D.C. (Prior to landing that well-paying gig he was a used car salesman.) He is paid for appearing on his family's reality show which promotes (their version of) the Christian faith.
He's drawn a great deal of attention to himself. He has broadcast, via a TV show that is seen by millions of people, his Christian beliefs and faith. Looks like Duggar, who recently stood in front of the Capitol building and told people marriage equality and being gay were both sinful, should be worrying about his own sins.

It appears as though the family is surrounded by religious friends and church leaders on all sides, who are convicted sex offenders.
The cop who failed to act was a family friend who was later convicted on dozens of child porn counts. The son who is a molester is a spokesperson for an anti-gay hate group, and several other male family friends and church elders have perverted sexual abuse records.

At least one of those kids is bound to have been born gay; the girls will be enslaved to potential abusers if they do not marry right, and they have all been taught since birth to keep quiet and appear 100% happy and perfect, like robots, at all times. It is a disaster waiting to happen as all 19 kids hit their teen and adult years. So unnatural.

It's stuff like that which makes me an "angry" atheist. I see how these children are being raised and it makes me sick. I was raised in a conservative Christian sect so I know how religion can have a hugely negative impact on lives.

Yes, very true. Religious fundamentalism can be very dangerous, or dysfunctional, at a minimum. I've seen it in my own family. Cousins raised in a very sheltered manner, forced to memorize the Bible, forced to dress a certain way, always under parents' watchful eyes... then they ended up with drug arrest records and teen pregnancies.
This is sad, but not surprising. Christian Fundamentalist and reality show star Josh Duggar, who works for the anti-gay hate group Family Research Counci,l molested his own sisters. What a disgusting, hypocritical dirt bag! And his family too... for covering it up.

I have no desires of pedophilia or incest, but then I've had a healthy acceptance of who I am and a healthy attitude about sex. Maybe this is what happens in the Duggar cult when you're raised with such extreme oppression. He probably thought it was better to feel up Sis than to masturbate!
