He's confirmed it as true and has resigned from his political job in DC. Anna is probably overjoyed to go back to Arkansas so she can have extra help with all the kids she has.
So, do you think he is an actual pedophile, or a sexually repressed teen with no options? I'm thinking the later, which means his upbringing would be to blame (not allowed to date, kiss, home schooled away from non-relative girls)
He didn't receive real therapy and he remained in the home with his victims for years afterward. That is deeply concerning.
If this molestation happened in any other household, CPS would right at their door. The sick part was that the parents continued to have more children, while their child molester son was living in the home.

I think that depends on what they told TLC while they were in talks for a reality show.
He continued to be a sexually repressed teen in the bosom of his family. Those impulses do not go away.
His victims were available 24/7, and now they knew their voices were unheard. This is child abuse.

No I don't think he's a pedophile. I think he's a a normal teen who had normal sexual urges that happen during puberty. Where I think it went wrong is that he wasn't raised in a family that talked about puberty or sex and he couldn't go asking his parents because it's been engrained in him that these feelings are sinful. As well as the girls he molested not knowing what was going on and since in his world a womans purity is her most important value the girls he molested weren't able to say what happened.
I think it's a really tragic example that you can't make sexualiry, puberty, sexual urges etc... go away just because you want them to.
I don't know either, but repeatedly fondling 5 separate girls on multiple occasions sounds more like predatory behavior than anything else. Normal sexually-repressed teenagers find a quiet place to whack off; they don't molest preteen girls.

Anna needs to protect her kids, stop putting them on TV and make sure her they are never victims. Which she will never do as long as she's in the grip of fundamentalism.
She has no education and no skills. She's in her mid-20's and already has 3 kids and another on the way. She chose to marry a man she knew had molested multiple girls. She knew he'd been hidden to avoid prosecution. Now she's attempting to down-grade what he did by calling it "teenage mistakes". No, Anna. A teenage mistake is taking your parents' car for a joy-ride. Sneaking into bed with your sisters and molesting them is not a teenage mistake. It's a crime.
One, or more, of those sisters could have been his "chaperone" while he was playing Professional Virgin and they were "courting" on that farce of a TV show. Hopefully they, the true victims, can escape the clutches of that family.

Either way, the general consensus of the American public will probably be to burn him at the stake. Though I will say, I have absolutely no respect for the Duggars or anyone they associate with.

Do yourself a favor and don't read the comments on their official fb page.
I'm truly sickened by some of the responses on fb and other places about this situation. Just because they are a good god fearing christian family doesn't make molestation okay. Praying to God and asking for forgiveness doesn't make molestation okay. Being sorry for making a mistake doesn't make molestation okay.
If people want to keep on loving the Duggars after learning this information, that's 100% your choice. But to try and minimize what he did and what those girls went through as okay for any reason, is wrong. What he did was wrong and nothing can make it okay.
