That logo is very poorly designed, I had to drive up in the parking lot to see what it was. The name is "Scout" and there is a marquee up there, for bands I assume.
Upon using Google - I found this:

It's a Rock Lounge and Dance Club. Wow, and I thought that was just going to be another "strip mall" looks like it's not going to be your basic nails and pizza and insurance in there!

Ahhhh...Thanks! I thought it was just me who could not figure it out.
And now my wife is jumping up and down about some band called the Spasmatics is going to play there. Some '80s cover band she says. Though, I still cannot figure out '80s music, but that is just me. LOL

Today I saw a sign near the strip center at Huebner and Churchill Estates that the Quilter's Point Cafe is now open. Couldn't tell what they serve, but it should be a good location.

My wife and I went to a new soul food/southern cooking place called Tanya's Place today. It's located at the intersection of Military and Marbach and the food was pretty good. You can tell they are targeting Mama Lee's, but the guys there don't have to worry about the competition. The actual restaurant is pretty nice and much larger than Mama Lee's, but the food was only good; Mama Lee's is more dayum good.. Tanya's mac and cheese was some of the best I've had ever.
