I'm looking for a review of Marty's (opens tomorrow) if anyone goes there. I have high hopes of finally finding a very good pastrami sandwich

I'll bet Marty's will be nightmarishly busy for the first month during the dinner hour, as that seems to be the norm for all new restaurants at that intersection.

I remember the overflowing parking lots that accompanied the openings of Buck's Landing and Houlihan's.

When did you go? We were thinking about going last Friday night, but I didn't make a reservation and so figured the wait would be insane. I was also curious about dress ~ where folks dressed up at all or was it typical San Antonio/anything goes?????

We went Firday night just to use a 25$ certificate we had. We couldnt even get into the bar area, so left. We will try on a week night. I would not call it typical SA, most people were dressy casual.

I was kinda wondering if a weeknight would be better, also. Think I'll still make a reservation, tho!
