Ever since the Taco Cabana at Wurzbach and Bluemel closed I've been wondering what would take its place. After several months of renovations a sign has finally popped up: Open Sesame Mediterranean Grill. The logo resembles this one so perhaps they're expanding from California?

mmmh, that looks like some good food there.
I wouldn't be surprised if it was from a different state because that seems to be popular right now. There is a New York sandwich shop opening in the new AR shopping center and another sandwich shop from Arizona is also going in there.
About time we got some variety around here

I just drove past and it's definitely the same logo. I wonder if it'll give Turquoise Grill a run for its money as my favorite Mediterranean restaurant?

That's cool that their only two are in California (LA area) and their third will be in SA.

What dish would anyone recommend at Wildfish? Has anyone ate at the new Kirby steakhouse?

I cant give a review of dinner at Wildfish but we had fun at happy hour. I got a mojito-not bad. But my husbands $5 patron margarita was very good, so I got one of those. we shared a crabcake-it was large-normally I think 12.50? but this was one of the appetizers that are half off during happy hour. He also ordered 1/2 dozen oysters at 50 cents a pc-again during happy hour. I dont normally eat them, but I tried one-they were good-very spicy horse radish. All in all-we had a good time.
