Too bad I can't get on this site at work (Big Brother watching). Wished I had known this before heading home today and sitting (for 25 minutes) on the 151 access road trying to turn left on Potranco because of a lane closure. And then the idiots that speed down the right lane thinking they can just cut people off at the front to get in the turn lane and not have to wait in line only made matters worse.
Can someone explain to me the need to raise Potranco 2 inches? Other than the fact that we won't have to go in to HEB feeling like we're going to lose our front end?

Yes...I never knew what day it was...I was 25 at the time but looked 50 because of the stress.

No, but my brother and brother-in-law were cops. I was in the Intel world and they work 24/7, 365. Though, I did work straight days my last 8 years in the AF, here in San Antonio.
BTW, I read that TX Dot is going to spend more money on new road development. Has anyone heard if some of that money will go to widening Potranco outside Loop 1604?

It could be worse, submariners work three 6-hour shifts which = an 18 hour day. So not only is there no sun to tell what time of day it is, the day is constantly changing and sometimes there's two of them.. luckily I worked 12-hour shifts when I was on them
