I've never heard of the city in my life. Wikipedia says that Highgrove is a census-designated place (CDP) in Riverside County...what does that mean exactly?

Please tell me everything you know. I may have an opportunity to work in the school system there.

Questions:

1) What ethnicity is the majority?
2) What kind of area is it? What other area is it similar to?
3) Good area to raise a family?
4) Is it like one of cities that time forgot?

Anything else you can please tell me? Thanks a lot!

Highgrove is just across the 215 from Belltown, which was the subject of another thread a few weeks ago. Highgrove is still an unincorporated section of Riverside County. It is between City of Riverside on the south and the San Bernardino County city of Grand Terrace on the North. Belltown is to the west, and undeveloped hills to the east. The eastern portion of Highgrove appears to be much newer housing, built in the late 1980s or later. The western area is closer to the 1950s or 1960s housing, with curbless streets. A lot of 4 foot chain link fences can be found in the western residential areas, along with several properties with several cars in the yard.

It's between Riverside and Grand Terrace on the east side of the 215.

1. It's mostly Latino. 2. It's fairly similar to Rubidoux or Home Gardens. 3. Not in typical terms. 4. Yes.

To work, probably fine. To live, somewhere in Riverside or Grand Terrace.
