Was shown a great place today. 30 acres with 50% woods and 50%pasture. Has a big work shop and a two story house with walk out basement and a live year round creek. Close to Bull Shoals and there is a big National Forest 3 miles down the road. Good place to prep a food plot. Doesn't have a pond........for now. More than enough to run a few cows on and to raise a pretty good size farm. Still here Bree. More sites tomorrow. Loving the weather here. Cloud cover and in the 70's. More to come.

I think you don't want to see your neighbors or be close to town so I'll let the others guide your way. I do know of a place on the outskirts of Mt. Vernon and five minutes from exit 44 on I-44. It sits on eight acres.

Still haggling over the price of a place. Hope we can close the deal in a few weeks. 38 acres, 2200 ft2 home built in the late 70's and plenty of deer and turkey and only 6 miles to town on paved road. Quarter mile of dirt to property entrance. 5 out buildings and two stock ponds and down the road from Piney River. A third is timber and the rest is pasture. The bugs had fangs! lol. The Barn is a three car garage with an upper loft. I see a man cave in development. The tack room had an attached green house. And the hospital was only 6 miles up the road. Fenced and crossed fenced. The surrounding area is mostly wooded. Better than the first place we looked at. Getting the bass pole out Cali Bassman and the fly pole and the traps and the shot gun and buying a saddle for the horse. Also getting a canoe to travel the small rivers. Can't wait.
