I wanted to know if there had ever been a school shooting in a Christian school so I googled it and only found one. Why so many in the public system but only one in the Christian Schools?
Private (not necessarily just Christian) schools can be selective in their admissions and decline/expel students who are troubled or have other issues. Public schools don't have that luxury.

I would agree.
Some private schools even have restrictive rules like minimum IQ scores or academics levels. And, I know private schools that are so determined not to accept anyone with behavior problems that they do not even allow children with minor speech and language difficulties in their schools.

I'm surprised there is even one.

I can imagine usually the shootings in Christian schools would be a former student going for revenge that they were often hit, tormented, bullied for not being a mainstream heterosexual Christian, etc.
It also could be a militant and violent non-religious person going after religious institutions for the harm that they do to kids, but then again shooting them wouldn't fit their case. If they went to try shooting the teachers or administration I can see that someone who has some serious mental illness and violent issues would target a religious school.

If that were the case then how come there's only one such shooting?

It's hard to come ups with a reason when there's only one such shooting.

Did you consider numbers? Approximately one in 10 U.S. students in grades preK-12 attends a private school. The number of those students who attend a conservative Christian high school would be very small. I know some of the Christian schools in my area have had graduation classes of one or two students.
