Well it seems like I've done this countless times over the past few months but again another potential tornado outbreak underway. The SPC has issued a high risk in some of the Plains states

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED OVER PARTS OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS
AND MID-UPPER MS VALLEY REGION THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

THE NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER IN NORMAN OK IS FORECASTING THE
DEVELOPMENT OF TORNADOES...LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS OVER PARTS
OF THE CENTRAL PLAINS AND MID-UPPER MS VALLEY REGIONS THIS AFTERNOON
AND TONIGHT.

THE AREAS MOST LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE THIS ACTIVITY INCLUDE

WESTERN IOWA
CENTRAL AND EASTERN KANSAS
SOUTHERN MINNESOTA
CENTRAL AND EASTERN NEBRASKA

ELSEWHERE...SEVERE STORMS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE FROM...PARTS OF THE SRN
PLAINS THROUGH THE MIDDLE AND UPPER MS VALLEY AND GREAT LAKES.

PLAINS INTO THE UPPER MIDWEST AND MIDDLE/UPPER MISSISSIPPI
VALLEY...
A SEVERE WEATHER OUTBREAK CONTINUES TO QUICKLY EVOLVE ACROSS THE
CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PLAINS INTO THE UPPER MIDWEST THIS AFTERNOON. GIVEN
UNSEASONABLY STRONG KINEMATICS/VERTICAL SHEAR ATOP A VERY
MOIST/UNSTABLE WARM SECTOR...CONFIDENCE REMAINS HIGH IN WIDESPREAD
DAMAGING WINDS AND THE POSSIBILITY OF STRONG TORNADOES /AS WELL AS
LARGE HAIL/ THROUGH TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE HIGH/MODERATE
RISK AREAS OF THE CENTRAL/SOUTHERN PLAINS AND MIDWEST.

Oh, isn't it just crazy? No tornadoes here, but we've had storms off and on for several hours now. We're just in a "watch" and it's the storm that comes way up from OK. They said the warm air was being pushed northward. We seem to be getting the storms, but not the warm air.

The wind is blowing pretty good now in Owasso.

Well I havn't had time to update this thread after watching the Lakers go down to Boston, anyway numerous tornados today but the conditions weren't quite there to have the historic outbreak which they anticipated, 35 reports of tornados today and over 200 reports of winds (65kt+) and 144 of hail (2"dia)
