Reviving an older thread to report my recent passport renewal experience. I sent in my documentation in early December (no expedited processing requested), they received my application on December 4, and I received my new passport book today, December 22. That has to be some kind of speed record. I guess it pays to apply in the off-season.

My son sent his renewal in, in June, and got it back in late October. Insane.
It only took 2 weeks to process my application to renew an expired passport. I was shocked when it showed up in my mailbox today. I expected it would take at least 6 weeks

Maybe the passport staff could assist Global Entry.
My renewal was submitted in October of 2022. Check cleared in Dec 2022.
Still waiting, status is still "under review" ..
Have seen nothing.

It expired July 2023, but they claimed you can use it for a year after expiry (backlog).
TSA says... "don't you have some ID that is not expired?"..

Spouse GE renewal took 3 weeks.
