I've known the Johnny Gosch case for a long time, but until now I didn't know that his own father may have been involved in his abduction. I watched (listened to) his mother's long interview, at one point in answering how the abductor(s) knew Johnny would be alone at that time on that day of disappearance, she said that in court hearing Paul Bonalucci told the Judge that prior arrangement had been made with his (Johnny's) father. I was speechless.

Anyway, it's seems to be pretty much established that Johnny is still alive.

It's my understanding that no one was able to verify anyone else's stories about meeting him, seeing him etc. They are all stand alone events. I think his mother drove herself insane trying to come up with as many scenarios as possible that left him alive. I can't imagine how horrible it must be for her.

I listened to that interview years ago and I do remember Noreen Gosch accusing Johnny's father of being involved in the kidnapping. One of the creepiest crime stories I've ever heard of.
Yeah I just read massive amounts on it. There is literally no evidence that he is alive. The ex-husband doesn't believe that grown up Johnny came to visit. The pictures of Johnny that were left on her doorstep all turned out to not be him and she actually believes that someone paid 3 men to lie to her and say they were the actual boys in the picture. The pictures in question had already been checked by the FL police. Verified to be a game of escapism by the kids in the picture years earlier. Ditto the FBI who actually traced them back to the FL origin after she came forward with the pictures. Oh and then remembering that 2 of them were sent to her via an online link not left on her doorstep after it came to light that it had rained on the day or night that she claimed that they had been left on her doorstep. MMMkkkkk.
I was already pretty well read on the Franklin files and know that started out as some sort of twisted political attack on the GOP but seemed to take on a life of it's own. Incredible that anyone would have given a moments thought to it. The guy who claims to have been in and out of various places held as a sex slave with Johnny has been discredited from here to Florida and back. Part of the reason that was blown out of the water was because Paul Bonalucci started enhancing his story to include every famous missing kid including Johnny.
I find it bizarre that his mother would rather believe him to be brain washed, tortured, kept in bondage and slavery as part of an upscale pedo ring until his escape with others in "the program" and now so fearful of his life that he could only visit her 1 time in the middle of the night with a strange unidentified man who he looked at for an approval every time he spoke than to probably be dead. I wouldn't wish that on anyone.
That's just as good evidence that he's dead as alive.
Term at this point would properly be "Presumed Dead".. I'd say he's as alive as Jimmy Hoffa.
I agree with the person before about the mother driving herself insane.. I think she was/is (Didn't she pass away recently?) grasping at any straw available. Look, I don't hold it against the woman, I can understand it.. But.. We, as outsiders, do need to look at it objectively. She doesn't have to, and she isn't.
She's said pictures found in Florida were of him. She's said he called her. She's said he was abducted by a child porn ring, she's said (I didn't hear this one, but) that the father did it..
She's.. unreliable.
Honestly.. This kid was probably taken by an opportunistic stranger.. Very bad things happened to him.. He was killed and buried. Possibly someone who had a shack out in the woods that didn't have any relatives.. he died.. Property went to the state.. House has collapsed.. Noone else took over the property.. Noone knows he's buried there.
It's hard to 'disappear' someone in today's world, but not impossible.. And it was easier in '82.
50 years from now, when that site is being developed.. a backhoe operator will dig up a skull and the police will send it to analysis and find it's Johnny. Then they'll backtrack the property records and put together a, most likely blurry, picture of what happened.

So are you saying those were lies and those things didn't happen, because it involves the GOP members?
