That sword cuts both ways. A "little" knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

I wonder why this rain making ability wasn't used to stop the wild fires in California and why not use it to make a few more lakes and streams here in the Old Pueblo, increase the water water table and put an end to droughts once and for all.
Did you know that if you say Orange real slow, it sounds like gullible?

For me, this winter is much dryer and sunnier than last winter.
But last year, I lived in rainy, cloudy, humid east Hawaii. This year I'm enjoying sunshine!

But man, it's chilly, and the static electricity shocks every time I open the car door are taking some getting used to.

And here we go with more clouds and a rain event. I'm all good with the clouds if we get rain from them ;-) At least this time it is much warmer. I just came back from a walk and it was warm enough to make me sweat!!!

[quote=bkolodzi;54393455]My wife and I have LOVED the climate in the Green Valley/Southeastern Arizona area compared to the gray winters of Oregon. I am sure.....at least I hope that this winter is an aberration.

It is. We have snow free winters more often then snow events. Late 90s one year we had 5-6" of snow on Easter Sunday on 4-12. No snow in Chicago, NY, FAIRBANKS of all places..........

Yesterday felt like spring. Today more like winter. Might have to have a fire later today. Looking forward to summer!

I'm loving this colder, wetter weather. Seems more like winter. We have such hot, dry (mostly) summers that I enjoy this change of pace. It's like someone who lives in Seattle coming down here because they're sick of clouds and rain. I get sick of all sun and 95 plus degree days, so cool, wet, cloudy is a nice break. It'll be hot and dry for months on end soon enough, I'll enjoy this weather.

I can't say that I agree, but I see your point of view. I moved here for the mild winters, the hot summers and the amazing Monsoon storms. This grey, cold, wet is not what I signed up for. Here we are again, Monday 2/18/2019 and it is cold, grey and wet again, and again likely on Thursday and Friday. I am totally over it, please bring back the sun!!!

I've lived here since the early 80's I think this is a more normal El Nino weather pattern. We were in a drought for a while and it's a shock to return to this.

Dry skin. Put lotion on, problem solved.
