Great stuff, Miamiman. I really like the Sam Hughes neighborhood. Lovely pictures of Mt Lemmon too. I have to get up there before the snow all melts away.

Thank you.

There's was still a good foot or more of snow up there on Saturday. There will probably be snow up there for another week or so.

Default Tucson Area Photos

Took these while on our trip to Tucson this past week... Had a GREAT time out there!

BTW, there was still a bit of snow on Mt. Lemmon. I was sad to see the effects of the 2003 fire... wow!

Hummingbird photo is Momma on her nest at Desert Museum, no such luck finding that myself! We got to see her feed her teeny tiny babies - they were so adorable. The photo of that did not come out very clear so I did not attach it.

Hope some of you will get photos of the desert in bloom - we were a few weeks too early, though it was still beautiful.

Have GREAT day!

I took some pictures at Catalina State Park today. Pretty stellar weather, and I took a side trail. Peak flowers were probably about a week ago, but there are still a lot of them out.

Oh, and the first three pictures are from a trail near a little campground at about the 7 mile mark on Catalina Hwy. Can't remember the name.

Here's a slide show. Hope you enjoy them:
