I thought they were rare - heard from people who have lived here their whole lives & have not ever seen ONE let alone 2 in a few months! Of course, we've also had a lot of other critters visit too! I prefer the innocuous guests, but you get what you're meant to, I suppose! It is never a dull moment around here...

Took this prickly pear cactus photo with my phone - they sure take better pics than they used to!

holy crap i would freak out if i ever saw one of those in my house. of course living in pennsylvania i would freak out even more because they dont frequent my area. plenty of nasty spiders and centipedes though.
