BTV has not had a below normal low temp since February 22nd. Thats 17 nights in a row above normal.

But Latest GFS continues to keep the Jet Stream down which means true Spring is on hold still..

Check out the data for BTV from latest GFS. Normal low is 20. Normal High is 38. It shows it doesnt get above freezing from Thursday evening and beyond..

Let me know if this plays out. Thanks

Mud season is here early, damn near sunk to my axles on Friday in my driveway; Went to a friends camp for a weekend of hunting and the road in was 8-10" of mud.......somehow that pocket of the NEK had about 48" of snow cover, but within a 5min drive the snow was down to 8" or so....

Im loving this NorthWest wind making it feel like 20 degrees mid March. Struggling to get out of the 30s today.

This cold trend looks to continue too. Trough is becoming dominate now. Might also be a HUGE snowstorm Tuesday for MA, VT, NY, CT, ME, NH. Not sure where yet. Depends where the secondary low develops.

This was a really nice change from Tuesday. Snowed a good 6" overnight (at Mad River Glen) of very light fluffy snow.

I just had a talk with someone who skied Jay today. My comment was that it must have been wicked icy, but he told me that there was about 4" of fresh powder and very few other people on the slopes. Quite windy on top, but not bad below treeline. Down here in the valley below, there's bare spots everywhere.

For over a week now the models have been showing a decent snowstorm for New England. I personally think based on Climo and consistancy it stays north of CT. We'll see.

This is what the latest Euro says for snow totals. Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe so heads up. This update shows 12-18" much of VT.
