Yes. But can’t you “camp out on the land” and “get your soul free” in Woodstock, Vermont?

We finally did our vacation a few days back
Visited Billings museum, The mansion across the road, did a short trip to farmers market, went for a short time to Silver Lake and did a few covered bridges .
Woodstock Inn was booked out for a wedding .
Was a nice time .

Glad your trip went well. I personally try to avoid lodging that caters to corporate events or weddings because if you are there as an independent guest while a wedding is taking place, the wedding party takes the place over and independent guests are "invisible" and get second rate service at best. Noisy at all hours to boot...

Don't know what the deal is with all the "Woodstock" three day concert from 1969 postings. Maybe subliminally it is being suggested that once conservative Vermont is becoming increasingly "WOKE" and liberal as more well to do New Yorkers move in and attempt to influence things....

Aw c'mon! Woodstock, Vermont has been the trustafarian escape from New York destination for 50+ years. The Swedish brick Volvo wagon. Organic gardening. Health food stores. Natural fiber clothing. Take your "WOKE" stuff elsewhere. Bernie Sanders has been Vermont's Congressman or Senator since 1990. Vermont shifted away from social conservative long ago.
