That's an amazing temp range. The North Pacific is about the same as always, 50-53F (10-12C), slightly warmer in Grays Harbor, Willapa Bay, and at the mouth of the Columbia River.
54f here in my part of the gulf. FISH ARE SHUT DOWN in water under 80ft and won't bite.
That must be rare cold there - about the same as it gets here in mid winter.
Sea temperature here is 20.6C (8km offshore) and 21.6C (Harbour)
Coldest for NZ is 14.8C in Dunedin, and warmest is 23.4C at Thames.
