Interestingly, I can't find the thread What is the temperature of the sea now in your country.
It would be nice if this thread was made available again.
Gulf waters are in the mid to upper 80’s outside Galveston Texas; I could imagine that water temperatures in the reservoirs across the DFW metroplex are at a similar temperature as that, perhaps a couple degrees cooler.
The sea water does not look warm to me, but for me (and I do not want to say that I live in Pattaya) still more or less suitable for bathing. Although it is clear that the general picture is cooler than it was in the good years.
I made a comparison here and compared today's date to the same date and time of the years when it was a decent summer. The difference is exists.
(I don't know why the previous thread is closed. Because I'm a person who enjoys bathing in the sea I remember posting there. All my maps and data are and were from my national weather service's website and are by law for everyone to use.)
