I spent 18 fantastic summers are this incredible pool ('resort'). All these new lawyer-inspired regulations and inspections are ridiculous and well over the top. The pool had been opened for 70+ years without anyone dying from contaminated utensils, missing handwashing signs, a missing napkin holder, or ANY of the other nit-picking BS.
Absurd insurance costs, because of greedy lawyers and selfish, sue-to-get-rich people were ultimately responsible for closing this wonderful, landmark and historic pool. So sad indeed. It will be (and is), missed by tens of thousands of patrons.
