Description: More than 200 prestigious fine-art dealers display their wares at this show, and thousands of collectors and aficionados come to see them. The art is rare and often spellbinding—oils and watercolors by important American and European painters in the 1800s; antiques of glass or silver from Europe, and of jade from the Orient; beer jugs from 17th-century Eastern Europe; silver pitchers from colonial America; old weathervanes and bells from England; 19th-century still-lifes; 19th-century game boards; Tiffany lamps; glazed and painted bowls and vases; and hundreds of other items of similar artistic value. Description: This is a huge festival in late Feb, with more than 400 marine and nautical vendor booths, new and used boats, live music, and plenty of great food. If it can be transported here (and transported away from here), vendors are selling it new, used, close-out, or liquidation—boats, fishing rods, reels, lures and lines, antique collectibles and maps, teak furniture, tournament gear, nautical art, crafts and jewelry, marine artifacts, boating apparel, taxidermy and fish reproductions, diving equipment, marine accessories parts, and even floating docks. Bands rotate on and off the stage all weekend long. And the food? Lobster, crab, clams, oysters, mussels, scallops, and all kinds of fresh fish that you can eat for dinner tonight. Admission is charged.
