Description: When the marina boasts everything on the water, it’s not kidding. Besides the usual fishing watercraft, it also rents canoes, Wave Runners, and ski boats. Or sign up for a little parasailing. It also has a general store and a dive shop, which is listed in the subsequent Scuba Diving section. This marina is at Table Rock State Park. The marina is closed November 1 through March 1.

Description: Scuba Sports sells and rents scuba equipment, refills tanks, and repairs gear. They are the largest dive store in Missouri and offer classes for beginners and advanced divers, as well as dive vacation packages. They offer a weeklong PADI Seal Team summer camp for youngsters 8 to 10, popular with residents as well as tourists. They do guided dive tours for certified divers in Table Rock Lake. If you might be interested in diving, Scuba Sport offers a summer program called Discover Scuba Diving. For $65, they provide a short classroom session in a pool, then take you to the lake for an actual dive with an instructor.

Description: A campground close to downtown Branson can still be found in spite of the new Branson Landing development project on the Taneycomo lakefront. Retirees have long enjoyed the superb location with the “air-conditioned breeze” from Taneycomo and the camaraderie with the other residents. There is a table for each of the 180 campsites. The folks in the campground enjoy feeding the geese that gather along the riverbanks and fishing for trout from one of several fishing docks. A marina and two shelters are provided. The showers and restrooms include central heating and air-conditioning. A 30- or 50-amp site with cable TV is available for $26 per day, with the seventh day free.

Description: This 356-acre park, located just south of the Table Rock Dam near the Showboat Branson Belle, is run by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Its 165 campsites come with basic and full hookups, available only on a first-come, first-served basis. You can use the concrete boat launch for free. The park has a full-service marina with rental boats and scuba-diving equipment.
