Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (775) 832-3007
Address: 907 Tahoe Boulevard

Description: Almost hidden among small retail establishments along Tahoe Boulevard, Frederick’s is easy to miss. The decor is California chic, with an intimate feel. The light plank floors, copper tabletops, veggie paintings, and cheery fireplace exude a welcoming ambience. The cuisine is billed as seasonal California with French-Asian fusion, which means you’ll find such delectable entrees as ricotta-stuffed eggplant and Muscovy duck breast along with an extensive list of sushi items. Reservations are advised during high season because seating is limited. Dinner is served Tuesday through Saturday.

5. Le Bistro

City: Incline Village, NV
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (775) 831-0800
Address: 120 Country Club Drive #29

Description: Dinner is always a special event at this very fine restaurant, where the prix-fixe menu includes appetizer, soup, salad, entree, and dessert. With an award-winning French chef preparing your dinner, it makes sense to try as many of his creations as possible. Although the menu varies daily, it could include velouté of fresh green asparagus, wild mushroom ravioli, limestone and baby leek salad, aiguillette of Black Angus, and rose petal crème brûlée. With its intimate elegance, Le Bistro is best suited to adults rather than families with small children. It’s open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, and reservations are advised. You’ll find it on the back side of the Country Club Center, which is across the street from the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa & Casino.

6. Azzara’S Italian Restaurant

City: Incline Village, NV
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (775) 831-0346
Address: 930 Tahoe Boulevard

Description: A great favorite with locals, Azzara’s will more than satisfy your craving for first-class pasta. Other entrees include steak Toscano, paella, and osso buco. The restaurant has a laid-back, comfortable atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or the whole family. If you have to wait for a table (which is likely, since it’s a popular place), just have a seat in the bar area and talk skiing, golf, or hiking with the locals. Conveniently located in Raleys Incline Center, Azzara’s is open for dinner Tuesday through Sunday.

7. Wild Alaskan Restaurant & Bar

City: Incline Village, NV
Category: Restaurants
Telephone: (775) 832-6777
Address: 930 Tahoe Boulevard

Description: Although you’ll find plenty of meat, poultry, and veggie choices in this casual eatery, the main bill of fare is decidedly fish. As the name indicates, the salmon is wild from the Copper River in Alaska and can be found in salad, cakes, tacos, and cooked to perfection with a caper-dill aioli. I also recommend the Raspberry Sunflower Salad, the Wild Thai Seafood Soup, and the Thai curry. If your sweet tooth just must be satisfied, take note of the delectable desserts prominently on display up front. Wild Alaskan is very laid-back, so don’t stay away because you’re in ski clothes. It’s open daily for lunch and dinner.
