Description: This eight-room inn off US 16 boasts a great location between Rapid City and Mount Rushmore, with convenient access to many major attractions in the Central Hills. A spacious common room, a large parking area, and private entrances to each room are additional attractions for road-weary travelers who may be getting tired of cramped cookiecutter chain hotels. The eclectic decor suggests charming Victorian country, with floral-print furniture. Half of the rooms, which are all named for flowers, have their own whirlpool tubs, but a hot tub on the back deck is open to all guests during the summer months. Rooms have their own TVs, and coffee pots, and the common room has a fridge and microwave. Wildlife roams the inn grounds, from the family of rabbits that lives under the porch to wild turkeys that shuffle past in the early morning hours. There is a two-night minimum from June through Sept but they will accept a one-night stay if a room is available.
