Description: The state’s largest public university operates two education-related programs in Rapid City through the Division of Technology for Training and Development. The first is a Master of Science program designed to help students use technological resources for teaching and learning; the second is a specialist program designed to build on the master’s degree. The USD graduate extension offers a master’s program in business administration with a health-service option and Master of Science programs in administrative studies with three options: human resources, health services, and interdisciplinary studies. About 90 students take advantage of this program. All classes are offered at night. Students live and dine off campus. The USD School of Medicine, which is located on the main campus in Vermillion, has a West River campus at 3625 5th St., Suite 200, in Rapid City, (605) 394-5105, where third- and fourth-year medical students can complete a portion of their studies.
